Why Support Birchwood Camp?

Our ministry of Christian Hospitality reaches people from all over the state of Alaska. Camp and Retreat ministries make a difference in the lives of people every year, helping campers build relationships with themselves, each other, and God through Jesus Christ.

Birchwood Camp appreciates support from churches and individuals outside of Alaska because there are fewer than 4000 United Methodist Church members in 28 churches in the Alaska Missionary Conference.

Ways to Support Our Ministry:
  • Make a donation of goods and/or services. For a current list of needs email the camp office or call us at
    907-688-2734.
  • Be a Volunteer. Visit our Volunteer page to find out more about volunteering as an individual or as part of a Volunteers In Mission team.
  • Keep us in your prayers.
  • Make a monetary gift.  Mail or call in a donation by cash, check, or Mastercard/VISA.
  • Contribute to our Bruce Roberts Memorial Scholarship fund, named in honor of a long-time Board member and Camp supporter. The fund pays camper registration for those who cannot afford it on their own.
  • Give to one of the Camp’s Advance numbers through the General Board of Global Ministries.
